The Dilolo Lake ( port. Lago Dilolo ) is a lake in Angola just before the border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the province of Moxico . It is located in Luacano County .

The Dilolo lies at about 1,084 m above sea level near the watershed between the Congo and Zambezi regions . It was discovered by Livingstone in February 1854 . According to Livingstone, the lake is eight to thirteen kilometers long and four to five kilometers wide. The Dilolo is rich in fish and is home to hippos and temporarily floods the area into the Zambezi system.
