Luacano is a small town and a district in eastern Angola . The Dilolo lake is located in the district area.

Luacano is the seat of a district of the same name ( Município ) in the province of Moxico . The district covers 34,780 km² and has 28,685 inhabitants (extrapolated estimate 2014). The 2014 population census should henceforth ensure reliable population figures.
The Luacano district is made up of two municipalities (Comunas):
