Dimitrios Papageridis
Dimitrios Papageridis (born April 11, 1986 ) is a former Greek weightlifter .
In 2005 he was European Junior Champion. In the active field, he reached tenth place in the super heavyweight division at the world championships in the same year . In 2006 he was fifth at the European Championships and sixth at the World Championships . At the European Championships in 2007 he was fifth in a duel and won the bronze medal in the snatch. At the World Championships in the same year he was again sixth. During a training control in 2008, Papageridis and ten other members of the Greek national team tested positive and then banned for two years. After his suspension, he was ninth at the 2010 World Championships .
