The Dingle Lake is a saltwater lake on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . In the Vestfold Mountains it is located on the Breidnes Peninsula immediately west of Stinear Lake .
Norwegian cartographers mapped it using aerial photographs taken during the Lars Christensen Expedition in 1936/37 . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named the lake after William Robert John Dingle (1920-2016), head of Davis Station in 1957.
