The Otjihaenamaparero Dinosaur Tracks are two groups of fossil footprints that dinosaurs left in the wet sediment about 190 million years ago ( Lower Jurassic ). They are located at the foot of the Klein-Etjo , in the northwest of Namibia , not far from the town of Kalkfeld . The site belongs to the Otjihaenamaperero farm . Both groups of tracks show the footprints of feet with three toes of different sized animals. The trail with the larger prints can be followed for over 20 meters.
The dinosaur tracks have been protected as a National Monument since 1951 .
