Diogo Feio (born October 6, 1970 in Porto ) is a Portuguese politician of the CDS-PP .

Feio holds a law degree from the Catholic University of Portugal and a postgraduate degree in economics and law from the University of Coimbra . From 1995 onwards he worked as a lawyer and as an assistant at the Faculty of Law at the University of Porto .

At the CDS-PP, Feio was a member of the national political committee, chaired the national arbitration council, was a member of the national council and the executive committee. Since 2009 he has been vice chairman of the national political committee and vice chairman of the executive committee.

Feio was a member of the Porto City Council from 1997 to 2009 and its first secretary from 2005 to 2009. From 2002 to 2009 he belonged to the Assembleia da República , where he was parliamentary group leader of the CDS-PP from 2005, after initially being deputy. From 2004 to 2005 he was State Secretary for Education in the Santana Lopes cabinet . In the European elections in 2009 he was able to enter the European Parliament .
