Diphgetogo "Dipsy" Selolwane (born January 27, 1978 in Gaborone ) is a former Botswana football player .

Career

Selolwane began his career with his hometown club Gaborone United . In 2000 he went to the United States at Saint Louis University , where he played soccer in 2000 for the sports department of Harris – Stowe State University and in 2001 for the sports department of Saint Louis University. He then moved to Denmark to Vejle BK , where he played five games. In 2002 he returned to the USA, this time to the professional franchise Chicago Fire in Major League Soccer . In the three years in Chicago he played 27 times and scored three goals. In 2005 he moved to Real Salt Lake , where he was only used eight times and could not score a goal. In the same year he returned to Africa . He signed a contract with Santos Cape Town and played there until 2007, then he moved to Jomo Cosmos in Johannesburg , but only played there twice and moved to Ajax Cape Town in 2008. From there he went to Pretoria to the reigning champions Supersport United , from which he moved to the University of Pretoria FC after two years , where he ended his career as an active player in 2014.

From 1999 to 2012 Selolwane was a Botswana international. He scored twelve times in at least 52 games; According to other sources, he scored 16 times in 49 international matches.
