Dirk-Alexander Rümelin

Dirk-Alexander Rümelin (born July 15, 1962 in Tübingen ) is a German orthopedist and author .

Rümelin studied human medicine at the University of Frankfurt am Main . The license to practice medicine took place in 1987, the doctorate to Dr. med. 1988. After several years of trauma surgery and surgery, Rümelin was trained as an orthopedic surgeon at the Heidelberg University Hospital . In 1997 he established himself as an orthopedist with a practice in Frankfurt am Main, where he still lives and works today.

Work as an author

In 2003 Rümelin published a guide to the arthrosis course book , followed in 2005 by another publication, the course book for artificial joints . In 2014, Rümelin published a collection of essays entitled “Time of Unreasonable”, in which he illuminates his everyday life in a satirical and humorous way.
