Dirk Borkenhagen
Dirk Borkenhagen (born January 16, 1965 ) is a former German football player .
career
Borkenhagen played in the youth of Eintracht Frankfurt in a successful class that won the German A-Junior Championship in 1982 and 1983 . He also became a Hessian selection player. This year included Armin Kraaz and the later national player Thomas Berthold . In the 1983/84 season Borkenhagen received a professional contract, but completed only one Bundesliga game. He then switched from professional football to amateur football and played for Rot-Weiss Frankfurt from 1986 to 1991 . In 1991/92 he reached the final of the German amateur championship with SpVgg Bad Homburg and barely missed promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga . In 1992/93 Borkenhagen played for Viktoria Aschaffenburg .
