Dirk Hille

Dirk Hille (born June 18, 1963 in Hohenselchow ) is a former German handball player and today's coach.

career

He played for ASK Vorwärts Frankfurt (Oder) from 1977 to 1990 and then moved to LTV Wuppertal in the 2nd Bundesliga. He also played for Bayer 04 Leverkusen , WSV Wuppertal and the LTV / WSV Wuppertal syndicate. Dirk Hille completed 50 international matches for the GDR in the youth, juniors, A and B national teams. The greatest sporting success was the 6th place at the Junior World Championships and multiple GDR champion or runner-up, 2nd place IHF-CUP 1989. His positions were left wing and as a circle runner .

Hille initially looked after TV Cronenberg and HC Wuppertal . From February 2008 to December 2009 he coached the ATV Hückeswagen club. In March 2011, the B license holder took over the men's team from TuS Bommern. Hille ended this activity in the summer of 2013 and took over the women's team from TuS Bommern until December 2016. From June 2017 Dirk Hille looked after the 1st men's team of the DJK Welper for one year. Since November 2018 he has been training the first women's team of HSG Schwerte / Westhofen in the association league of the West German handball association.
