Dirk Rühmann
Dirk Günter Hilmar Rühmann (born January 16, 1960 in Braunschweig ) is a German crime novel writer , lay preacher and former district mayor of the city district 213 Südstadt-Rautheim-Mascherode .
Author activity
In 1979 Rühmann graduated from the Gaußschule . In 1991, Rühmann began self-publishing his first (mostly short) crime stories under the pseudonym Günter Hilmar , which are mainly located in and around Braunschweig . Since 1996 he has published his books under his real name.
The main characters in his more than 100 crime novels, which are now endowed with a lot of local flavor , are mostly the commissioners Braun and Schweiger .
