Dirk Schilbock (born August 1, 1972 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Schilbock made his Bundesliga debut for Fortuna Düsseldorf in the 1991/92 season . On the penultimate game day, the 37th, he was substituted on for the second half of the away game against 1. FC Kaiserslautern . Fortuna lost the game 2-0. On the last day of the match he was in the starting line-up against Hamburger SV and played 90 minutes, the game was won 1-0 by a goal from Antoine Hey . Düsseldorf took last place and was relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga . Schilbock completed three games in the second division and again had to accept relegation with Fortuna.
Schilbock later worked for Preussen Krefeld and TuRU Düsseldorf .
