Dirty Impact is an Austrian house project and consists of the DJ Phil Maurice and the MC and radio host Chris Antonio.

history

The Dirty Team became known for their self-written songs such as All I Really Want and I Say You . But also cover versions of well-known hits like Born to Be Wild or Tom's Diner increased their popularity. With the single Tom's Diner they reached number 1 in the Austrian DJ charts (DCA) and were represented in the Austrian sales charts for five weeks. In addition, the song was licensed in several countries such as B. in Portugal, Poland, Mexico, Scandinavia or the USA. Dirty Impact released the song I'm Always Here (Baywatch Theme) in 2011 , which also hit the sales charts in Austria.

Since 2011 Dirty Impact has had its own compilation series Dirty Impact Club Tour , published by Universal Music Austria , which consists of a musical mix of house with commercial influences. The first compilation Vol. 1 was represented in the Austrian sales charts for nine weeks. In October 2011 Dirty Impact presented another edition with Dirty Impact Club Tour Vol. 2 . After the success of the first two releases in 2011, the compilation will appear twice a year in the future.

With the single One Love , Dirty Impact and Sunny Marleen made their debut with the major label Universal Music Austria . International remixes came from Alex Kenji and TV Rock and were available for download worldwide. After the success in Austria, the single One Love was released by Universal Music in Switzerland, Germany, the Balkans, Ukraine and Russia.

Your singles regularly make it to compilations such as B. Bravo Hits , Future Trance , Clubland , Millenium or Night Shift .

Every Friday evening you can hear international songs presented by Chris Antonio on the KroneHit radio station from 9-10pm on the Clubland program .

DJ Wolf le funk left the team in autumn 2013 because he had to concentrate on his studies. He will then start his own DJ career. Dirty Impact, DJ Phil Maurice and MC Chris Antonio continue to work as a duo.

At the beginning of 2015 Dirty Impact announced that an album of their own would be released this year - Universal Music. The album's harbinger is a joint single with Virginia Ernst .

As of May 2015, Dirty Impact is also presenting its own radio show (hosted by Chris Antonio), which can be heard every Saturday from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Kronehit Radio Austria-wide (Weekend Kick off - Der Kronehit Club). The Dj Mixes come from Phil Maurice or from her friend and partner Dj Daniel Merano.
