Disciple (in German: disciples) is a Christian Metal - band from Knoxville , Tennessee (USA).

Band history

The band was formed in 1992 when the two 13-year-olds Tim Barrett and Kevin Young teamed up. Brad Noah joined a little later and so the trio recorded 10 songs, which were never released. In 1995 her first CD What Was I Thinking was released with 15 tracks.

In the next eight years they recorded four more CDs (with Young as bassist) until Joey Fife took over bass in October 2003. With their song I Just Know from the CD This Might Sting a Little they had their first hit single. Since 2005 they are on the major label Epic Records , which has released two albums by the band to date.

In 2008 bassist Joey Fife and guitarist Brad Noah left for personal reasons. Fife joined another band, Noah will continue to be available to Disciple for songwriting and studio recording. According to bandleader Young, not that much will change in the band's sound.

Every year Disciple gives well over 100 concerts, mainly in the USA and a few in Europe.
