Architecture and history
The two wooden houses were built around 1900 and are largely designed in the same way. The paneling of the facades in the style typical of country houses in the Harz region of the 19th century is striking . Above the ground floor the vertically attached boards overlap, creating a frieze-like decoration. Each of the houses has a central dwelling . The roofs of the dwelling houses protrude far and are decorated with trusses .
