Dmitri Alexandrowitsch Kowaljow ( Russian Дмитрий Александрович Ковалёв ; born March 27, 1976 in Kaluga ) is a former Russian rower .
Career
Rowing for Dynamo Kaluga, Kowaljow competed at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney with the Russian eighth and finished in 9th place.
The best placement at the World Rowing Championships reached Kovalev with the Russian team in 1999 in Canada with the bronze rank. At the World Championships in Seville in 2002 , Kovalyov could not win a medal.
Kovalev won several Russian championships.
