Schuchichin made his international debut as part of the Ski Jumping Continental Cup in the 2000/01 season . In the first season he reached the 127th place with 53 points. He also started the 2001/02 season with a point gain in Lahti . On January 13, 2002, he made his debut in the ski jumping World Cup at the team competition in Willingen and reached ninth place with the team. At the following individual World Cups in Zakopane , he clearly missed the points. In the Continental Cup, too, he only managed to win a few points. At the end of the season he reached rank 232 in the overall ranking. Schuchichin made his last international appearance in December 2002 at the Continental Cup in Engelberg , where he failed in the second round as 37th.
