Dmitri Wjatscheslavowitsch Vlassenkow ( Russian: Дмитрий Вячеславович Власенков ; born January 1, 1978 in Olenegorsk , Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian ice hockey player who was last under contract with Severstal Tscherepowez in the Continental Hockey League .
Career
In 1996 Vlasskov began his career with Torpedo Yaroslavl and made his debut for the men's team in the Russian Super League during the 1995/96 season . During the 1996 NHL Entry Draft , he was selected by the Calgary Flames in the third round in 73rd place. W Lassenkow stayed with his hometown club until 2000 before moving to North America and spending a season with the Orlando Solar Bears in the International Hockey League .
In 2002 he returned to the Super League to his hometown club, which was renamed Lokomotive Yaroslavl in 2000, where he was under contract until 2007. After one and a half seasons at Atlant Mytishchi Vlassenkow was taken in the course of the 2008/09 season by HK Awangard Omsk from the Continental Hockey League under contract. In November 2011 he was committed by HK Arlan Kökschetau from the Kazakh ice hockey championship . After one goal and three assists in two games, he returned to the KHL in December 2011, where he received a contract with Severstal Tscherepowez until the end of the season .
International
For Russia , Dmitri Vlassenkow took part in the junior division at the Junior World Championships in 1997 and 1998 .
With the Russian men's selection, he took part in several tournaments on the Euro Hockey Tour . He scored five goals and four assists in 34 international matches.
