Dmytro Proswirnin ( Ukrainian Дмитро Просвірнін , scientific. Transliteration Dmytro Prosvirnin , in the Soviet Union Dmitri Borisovich Proswirnin , Russian Дмитрий Борисович Просвирнин * 7. January 1967 in Vorokhta , then Ukrainian SSR of the Soviet Union ) is a former Ukrainian nordic combined and ski jumping .

Career

Proswirnin started at the Nordic World Ski Championships 1993 in Swedish Falun . From the normal hill he landed on the 60th place after jumps on 70 and 64.5 meters. With the team he reached 14th and last place in the team competition. As a Nordic combined, he took part in the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer , he finished the individual competition in sixteenth place, he was not used in the team competition. His brother Oleksandr had been an Olympian in the same discipline ten years earlier.
