Dolchamar is a band that was formed in London in 1999 and whose members now live in Finland . They play electronic rock music and hip-hop , the lyrics are read in Esperanto . During the International Youth Congress for Esperanto 2003 in Lesjöfors ( Sweden ) the band changed their name from " Dolcxamar " to " Dolchamar ". Translated, the name Dolchamar means something like bittersweet (dolĉa = sweet, amara = bitter)

According to their own information, Piechjo (Patrik Austin) is currently the only permanent member of the band. At various concerts since mid-2005 he has performed under the name Dolchamar with various other musicians, such as Timo Ylönen ( electric bass ), Minna-Leena Toikka ( percussion , vocals ) and Hannu Linkola ( drums ).
