The Dolmen La Croix-du-Breuil, excavated by René Farge in 1907, is located on a property called "La Grend Pré", east of Verneuil-sur-Vienne , about five km west of Limoges and west of the hamlet of La Croix-du-Breuil and the road D 2000, directly on the "Route du Dolmen" road in the Haute-Vienne department in France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for Neolithic megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).

The dolmen remnant, which cannot be identified in more detail, consists of five lateral bearing stones and the broken capstone. The front and rear of the dolmen are missing, as is the hill.

The Dolmen La Croix-du-Breuil has been classified as a Monument historique since 1988 .
