Dolmen La Pierre Levée

The Dolmen Peyre Levade (also called Puy de Bon Temps, Peyrelevade de la Prunerède, Piera Levado (Puits de Bontemps)) is a Neolithic megalithic complex in the forest, northeast of Limeyrat and the A89 in the Dordogne department in France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for Neolithic megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).

The stones of the dolmen are disorganized. Many have fallen over or broken, but the approximately 3.0 by 2.0 meter capstone is still in place , held in place by wooden beams.

Next to the dolmen there is a small round cloakroom , a cantilever vaulted structure made of dry stone with a heavily moss-covered roof.
