Île Bono

The dolmen on the Île Bono is located on the Île Bono , the largest island in the Sept Îles archipelago ( German  "seven islands" - Breton ar Jentilez ); off the north coast of Brittany near Perros-Guirec in the Côtes-d'Armor department in France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).

It is not to be confused with the Dolmen du Kernourz in Bono .

About 4200 BC The dolmen , which originated in BC, is located on the highest point in the southwest of the island. The “Dolmen à galerie”, which was placed under protection in 1968, is made of granite rock . It has the shape of a circle formed by 15 plates with a diameter of about 4.0 m, without cap stones or cantilevered vaulted dome , with a corridor that has not been preserved.

As the islands are a nature reserve, the dolmen cannot be visited.
