The Dolmen at Birkenmoor is a Neolithic passage grave / stone grave near the village Birkenmoor in the municipality Schwedeneck in Rendsburg-Eckernförde in Schleswig-Holstein . The megalithic system of the funnel beaker culture (TBK) was created between 3500 and 2800 BC. Chr.

The dolmen is in an open field approx. 80 meters south of state road 44 near Birkenmoor (there is another burial mound directly on the L 44). The large bearing stones and the capstone of the burial chamber have been preserved - nothing of the originally existing mound has survived.

The dolmen is also listed under Birkenmoor 14 or (after Ernst Sprockhoff ) as Sprockhoff 131 .

The dolmen is one of the large stone graves near Birkenmoor , which have been preserved on the Danish Wohld and are under monument protection .

Others

About 900 m to the northeast is the similar dolmen near Kuhholzberg .
