Dolmen de la Chassagne

The Dolmen de la Chassagne , south of Saint-Cernin-de-Larche on the Causse Corrézin in the Corrèze department in the French region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine is relatively small, but is located on a particularly large hill. In France, dolmen is the generic term for megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).

The capstone of the simple dolmen ( French dolmen simple ) of about 2.2 × 1.5 m and the two bearing stones are in situ . Nearby are other tumuli that seem to contain the remains of megalithic structures .

The dolmen has been classified as a monument historique since 1988 .

Nearby are the Buffovent Dolmen and La Palein Dolmen .
