Dolmen de la Madeleine (Carnac)
The Dolmen de la Madeleine is located east of the D186, a little north of Carnac in the Morbihan department in Brittany in France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).
The dolmen, located in the remains of his cairn , is in a field that has now overgrown. The large, heavily tilted capstone of the complex, which was probably a duct dolmen, rests on three supporting stones, a floor plate and two other orthostats are present.
The dolmen has been classified as a monument historique since 1900 .
