The Dolmen de la Pierre Folle ( German  "crazy stones" - also called Dolmen de la Madeleine (Gennes)) is located next to other monuments from different eras in the hamlet of Bournand in Gennes-Val-de-Loire in the Maine-et-Loire department in France . The Dolmen de la Pierre-Folle is a megalithic complex that has never been fully explored. It belongs to the type of the neighboring Dolmen de la Madelaine and Dolmen of Bagneux . The complex is not a dolmen, but an allée couverte and dates from the Middle Neolithic and is one of the largest monuments of its kind in the region. Their length is 18.5 m. The average width is five meters inside and six meters outside. Like La Roche-aux-Fées in Saumur , the interior was divided into two, possibly even three rooms by side panels. It has a lower trilith entrance , which is blocked by a menhir 1.05 m high . 7 lateral and 3 axial bearing stones support 3 ceiling slabs of which the middle one is the largest. The last lateral support stone on the right, behind the entrance, is wrapped up.

There are several plants of this name in France. They are near Commequiers, southwest of Nantes , near Saint-Priest-la-Feuille (Creuse) and Pierre Folle near Montguyon . There are also several facilities called “Dolmen de la Madeleine” in France: Dolmen de la Madeleine (Carnac) and the Dolmen de la Madeleine (Lessac) .

Nearby is the Dolmen de la Pagerie .
