Dolmen de la Thuile aux Fées
The Dolmen de la Thuile aux Fées (also Tombe des Fées - fairy house or tomb ) is located in Pinols , west of Tailhac near Le Puy-en-Velay in the Haute-Loire department in France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for Neolithic megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ). The suffix "Fées" or "Fein" carry several French dolmens or Allées couvertes .
The Neolithic collapsed dolmen of an unknown type, of which only six relatively thin bearing stones have survived, lies on a forest path. The big stones are tilted against each other. One of the stones could be a capstone, all the others are missing. The hill is recognizable as the remainder.
The dolmen has been registered as a Monument historique since 1987 .
