Mercedes-Benz Vision R is a concept vehicle from Mercedes-Benz that was presented in September 2004 and later went into series production as the Mercedes-Benz 251 series.

Mercedes-Benz Vision R - a further development of Mercedes-Benz Vision GST and Mercedes-Benz Vision GST 2 - was presented at the Paris Motor Show in Paris from September 25 to October 10, 2004. At the same time, Mercedes-Benz Vision B was presented. The vehicle is supposed to "combine different vehicle concepts" - such as sporty sedans, station wagons, vans and sport utility vehicles (SUVs). According to Mercedes, "the vehicle is characterized by size, space comfort and functionality and should meet high expectations in terms of performance and driving dynamics".
