Mercedes-Benz GLA
The smallest SUV models from Mercedes-Benz have been marketed under the name Mercedes-Benz GLA since 2013 . These are the models of the X 156 series (2013–2020) and the H 247 series (since 2020).
The naming should indicate the positioning in a vehicle segment corresponding to the A-Class .

Registration numbers
Since the market launch up to and including December 2019, a total of 98,432 GLAs have been newly registered in the Federal Republic of Germany. 2016 was the most successful sales year with 17,308 units.
