Mercedes-Benz GL

The full-size SUV from the German automobile manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has been marketed under the name Mercedes-Benz GL since 2006 . It is technically closely related to the M-Class . In 2015, the GL and M-Class were renamed and have since followed the new nomenclature that was introduced with the GLA . The M-Class became the GLE , while the GL was renamed GLS in order to move it closer to the S-Class.

Registration numbers

Since the market launch in 2006 up to and including December 2019, 20,730 vehicles of the GL and GLS series have been newly registered in the Federal Republic of Germany. 2007 was the most successful sales year with 2,912 units.
