Mercedes-Benz Citaro CNG (CNG stands for "Compressed Natural Gas") is the natural gas version of the bus type series Mercedes-Benz Citaro . The vehicles are manufactured as standard or articulated buses and sold through EvoBus .

technology

The fuel is compressed to 200 bar on the roof in plastic pressure tanks that each hold a good 30 kg of natural gas. These containers are surrounded by a shell that is reinforced with carbon fibers. The 4- stroke gasoline engine contains 6 cylinders.
