History and description

The Mercedes-Benz W 24 was first launched in 1936 as the Mercedes-Benz 540 K long alongside the "normal" 540 K ( Mercedes-Benz W 29 ) types on three different chassis in twelve copies on an extended chassis with a 3880 mm wheelbase. All these vehicles were designed as touring cars with six seats and delivered to the German government or used as factory test cars. Instead of the swing axle , they have a De-Dion double-jointed axle at the rear and a rigid axle at the front . Their top speed is 140 km / h.
