The Unimog 407 is a vehicle from the Unimog series from Mercedes-Benz. The Daimler-Benz AG built it as a successor to the Unimog 421 1988-1993 in the Mercedes-Benz plant in Gaggenau . A total of 789 vehicles in three types were built from this light Unimog series. It was only available with a short and long wheelbase and a closed driver's cab, so not, like its predecessor, also as a powered end car or with an open driver's cab. In 1993 it was replaced by the Unimog 408 .
