The Mercedes MGP W02 is the third Formula 1 - racing cars from Mercedes . The car, designed by Loïc Bigois , John Owen and Ross Brawn , took part in all 19 races of the 2011 Formula 1 season and was driven by the Germans Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg . Mercedes-Benz HPE developed the V8 engine FO 108X with KERS .
