The Mercedes-Benz W 19 , called the 380 S , was offered alongside the Mannheim 380 S in 1932 and 1933 .

It had the same chassis with a 3200 mm wheelbase and the side-controlled eight-cylinder in-line engine. This engine has a displacement of 3820 cm³ and develops 85 PS (62.5 kW) at 3200 rpm, which is why the vehicle was also sold as "15/85 PS". In contrast to the Mannheim 380 S, the car had a coil-sprung swing axle at the rear and a transverse leaf spring on the front axle. After this design differed significantly from that of the W 10 model, the new car also received a different model designation, the W 19.

The vehicles, which were available as Cabriolets A, B or C with leaf-sprung rigid axles, reach a top speed of 120 km / h.

In 1933 the model series was replaced by the type 380 .
