The Unimog 418 is a vehicle from the Unimog series from Mercedes-Benz. The Daimler-Benz AG built it as a successor to the Unimog 417 between 1992 and 1998 in the Mercedes-Benz plant in Gaggenau . From this medium-heavy Unimog series, a total of 1223 vehicles were built in six types.

It was built together with the light Unimog 408 , both of which were available with newly developed, angular cabs: either with a high roof or with a normal height. In addition, the engine hood was also available in two versions: as a so-called " viewing channel engine hood " with a flattened area on the driver's side, or a symmetrical engine hood.

In 1998 the Unimog 418 was discontinued without a successor. Since then, Mercedes-Benz has offered either the lighter Unimogs of the 408 and 405 series or the heavy Unimogs of the 427 and 437 series.
