Toronto , Canada : The young architect Raj Malhotra was a successful college student. Unfortunately, this does not apply to his professional career. With his friend Hiten Patel, who is also an architect, they try to land orders - without success. Raj's last hope is fortune teller Haseena, who tells him that he needs a person who will change his life and bring happiness.
In fact, he meets this person: Priya. Whenever Priya is around Raj, things work for Raj. Although they don't like each other at first, they make friends - with Raj's ulterior motive to have them close by as a good luck charm.
The shops are slowly taking off and Raj receives an order for the company "Batra & Gill" to draw up a plan for a shopping center. Problem: The building in which the shopping center is to be built is a community center for old people, in which Priya also works. She wants to prevent the building with her hands and feet.
Therefore, Raj makes her believe that the mall will be combined with the community center so that the old people can still stay in it. For Mr. Gill, the managing director of "Batra & Gill", Raj drafts plans without involving the community center. With this assignment, Raj can finally make a name for himself as an architect.
Raj is happy and spends a lot of time with Priya after she was betrayed by her fiancé Karan. They fall in love and Raj feels guilty because he lied to them and took advantage of them. When he confesses everything to her, Priya breaks up with him.
When presenting the project, Raj changed the designs so that the Community Center can remain in order to prove his love for Priya. But Mr. Gill and the other business people are not at all enthusiastic about this idea and throw him out of the project. Priya shows up with her unknown old friend, who turns out to be Rajeev Batra, partner in the company "Batra & Gill". Thanks to his say, Raj stays in the project. Raj and Priya are reconciled and everything turns out for the better.
