The Dolmen du Roh-Du (also called Dolmen von Rode or Forêt de Floranges), placed under protection in 1992, is located on the northern edge of the Forêt de Floranges (forest) south of La Chapelle-Neuve in the Arrondissement de Pontivy in the Morbihan department in Brittany in France . The complex dates back to the Neolithic , around 3000 to 2700 BC. In France, dolmen is the generic term for megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).
The low simple dolmen ( French dolmen simple ) lies in the remains of a round hill about 10.0 m in diameter. It consists of three supporting stones and the ceiling slab protruding on all sides. The chamber measures approximately 2.0 x 1.5 m.
