Keransquer Dolmen
The Keransquer dolmen is located in the east of Quimperlé , north of the Rue de Lorient (D 765) in the Finistère department in Brittany in France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).
The small simple dolmen ( French dolmen simple ) was found on private property in Rédené further east, dismantled and rebuilt in the park of the Château de Keransquer in Quimperlé. The capstone is supported by three U-shaped stones that represent the end of what was once possibly a much larger chamber.
Nearby is the Roscasquen dolmen .
