Dolmen of La Lue

The restored dolmen of La Lue (also known as La Leu) is located at a crossroads west of Berneuil in the Haute-Vienne department in France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for Neolithic megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).

The dolmen has an approximately 4.0 × 2.0 m measuring, east-opening chamber made of two long side stones and two smaller stones at the back made of another stone. It is covered by a capstone measuring approximately 5.0 x 4.0 m, which has broken into two pieces. There are traces of a small stone mound.

The dolmen has been registered as a monument historique since 1982 .
