The dolmen of Roscoualc'h (also known as the Cairn of Roscoualc'h , La Roche de l'Or or Karreg an Aour ) is a dolmen near the sea on a hill in Trédrez-Locquémeau , west of Lannion in the west of the Côtes-d'Armor department in Brittany in France . It was classified as a Monument historique in 1982 . In France, dolmen is the generic term for Neolithic megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).

It is a small dolmen ( French dolmen à couloir ), which consists of eight orthostats , which are partially covered by a capstone that has collapsed on the east side. The capstone is about 2.5 m long, 2.15 m wide and 0.50 m thick. The dolmen lies in its cairn , which is 20 to 30 m in diameter. The chamber opens to the east and the largely buried passage leads to the north. All panels are made of slate .

The dolmen could be the Allée couverte of Keranvilin mentioned in old documents .

According to tradition, an old man with a wide hat lives in the dolmen in which he has hidden his treasure. He only comes out at night.

Nearby is the Crec'h Lia dolmen .
