Dolores Araujo
José Dolores Araujo is a former Mexican football player who played in defensive midfield and was under contract with the UD Moctezuma from 1941/42 to 1949/50 .
Life
His only proven goal in the Liga Mayor , which was officially an amateur event at the time , he succeeded on the first match day of the 1941/42 season in the 6-2 victory of the Cerveceros (the brewers ) against the capital club Club America on August 10, 1941. Two years later Araujo underwent two own goals within just three months : the first on September 19, 1943 in the cup final against CF Atlante forced his team into overtime , in which they were ultimately able to prevail 5-3. The second happened on December 19, 1943 in the opening season of the professional league in the 1: 3 defeat at Club Deportivo Guadalajara .
Araujo won the Mexican cup competition twice (1943 and 1947) and the Supercup once (1947) with the Cerveceros .
