Career

At the Southeast Asian Cup 2019 , the striker was part of the East Timorese national team for the first time . On August 15, 2019, Costa made his debut at the Institute of Physical Education Chonburi Campus Stadium in the Thai capital Bangkok for the national team in a 2-1 victory over Singapore , the first victory in East Timorese international history. After Luselia Fernandes had scored the first goal in national team history in the 59th minute, the fast Costa marked the decisive 2-0 in the 73rd minute after a run past the opponents. In addition, the East Timorese played a few days later against the Philippines (0: 7) and Malaysia (0: 5).

In summer 2020, the East Timorese played at club level for S'Amuser FC in the league Futebol Feto Timor-Leste .
