Domenico da Pesaro , also Dominicus Pisaurensis and Dominicus Venetus , (* 1533 ; † 1575 ), was an Italian keyboard instrument maker who worked in Venice .

More of his instruments have survived than of any other instrument maker of the 16th century. This includes seven harpsichords , seven polygonal virals and a clavichord . The clavichord, dated 1543, which is in the Musical Instrument Museum of the University of Leipzig , is the oldest surviving instrument of its kind. However, two undated instruments in the same collection could be a bit older. Of his instruments, two octave harpsichords can be found in the collection of the Musée de la Musique in Paris (1543) and the collection of the Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde in Vienna (1546). There is also a harpsichord from 1554 in the Paris collection.
