Dominik Markl
Dominik Markl SJ (* 1979 in Sistrans ) is an Austrian Roman Catholic priest , theologian and Old Testament scholar.
Life
He studied in Innsbruck and completed the theological year in Jerusalem . A Humboldt fellowship with Eckart Otto in Munich led to the completion of his habilitation in Deuteronomy. He taught for two years in London ( Heythrop College ), then also in Nairobi, Berkeley and Manila. Since autumn 2013 he has been teaching as a professor at the Pontificio Istituto Biblico .
