Dominik Neuner
Dominik Neuner (born December 5, 1948 in Basel ) is a Swiss opera director and university professor.
Life
Neuner came to Stuttgart in 1973 , where he graduated from drama school at the State University for Music and Performing Arts .
From 1976 he worked as an actor and assistant director at the State Theater in Stuttgart and at the Theater of the City of Heidelberg , and in 1978 he moved to the Württembergische Landesbühne in Esslingen am Neckar as a dramaturge, director and actor .
From 1985 to 1988 Neuner was senior director of the drama at the Stadttheater Würzburg , but also began with productions in the music theater. Neuner was also one of the co-founders of the Rossini Festival in Wildbad
In 1996 Neuner became opera director at the Hessian State Theater in Wiesbaden . From 2002 to 2014 Neuner was a professor at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater .
