Dominik Schwarzer
Dominik Schwarzer (born June 10, 1986 in Münster ), artist names : Tom Jazon , David Anderson , is a German singer , songwriter , composer and music producer , living in Hamburg . His most famous composition to date was used in the trailer by Philomena , for which he and his co-writer Nick Murray received the Music + Sound Award 2014.
Life
Dominik Schwarzer grew up in Nordkirchen in the Münsterland region as the second youngest of 5 children. He started playing drums at age 10 and switched to guitar at age 15. Also at the age of 15 he began to make his first recordings on the computer and to sell his first CDs in the schoolyard. At the age of 20 he decided to pursue music as a profession and got the chance to study at the Hamburg School of Music. After a year of studies, he was discovered there by Stage Entertainment Germany and engaged in the new edition of Buddy in Essen. After he had fulfilled his contract for a year as 1st cast “Tommy” and as cover for the main role “Buddy”, he went back to Hamburg to finish his training as a professional musician.
In 2011, after graduating, Schwarzer took on his first jobs as a producer assistant in Sandi Strmljan's studio, while he was discovered by the American music producer and composer Nick Murray via Soundcloud. This offered Schwarzer to produce background music for a US TV show. After the first compositions that Schwarzer sent him, however, Schwarzer decided that the pieces would be suitable for an album with cinema trailer music and suggested that Schwarzer write such an album with him as executive producer and co-writer to produce.
In spring 2012 Dominik Schwarzer also released his album "ECHT" with nine self-written and produced German pop songs. In the same year, crowdfunding made it possible to produce a physical copy of the CD, which is available on Amazon.
In 2014, Schwarzer composed and produced the soundtrack for the film “10 seconds” by the young director Tobias Schöneberger, which will soon be premiered at international film festivals.
On June 10, 2016, Schwarzer played again in "Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story". He took on the main role Buddy for the Westphalian State Theater, which will now be seen in numerous standard locations in the form of a guest performance.

LIFT
The album Lift was composed by Dominik Schwarzer in Hamburg and Nick Murray in Salt Lake City. The two producers exchanged the tracks via the Internet and thus came to the end result. Production took place in July 2012 in Los Angeles at Mark Needham's studio and was completed in Nick Murray's Salt Lake City studio. So far there have been placements in the trailers from Dallas Buyers Club , Philomena and Decoding Annie Parker.

On The Bright Side Of Life
On June 14th, 2016 the production music album "On The Bright Side Of Life" was released, consisting of 12 acoustic pop compositions, mainly consisting of instrumentals. The album was composed and produced by Dominik Schwarzer in his recording studio in Buchholz idN between July and September 2015.
