Dominika Spaar
Dominika Spaar OSE (born June 7, 1911 in Harthausen , Friedberg district (Bavaria) ; † April 14, 2007 in Neuburg an der Donau ) was Superior General of the Elisabethinerinnen .
Life
Sophie Spaar entered the Elisabethinerinnenkloster St. Elisabeth in Neuburg an der Donau on March 1, 1932 . Together with her sister Maria, who had joined the order before her, she was dressed on June 23, 1934 ; the sisters then made their temporary and permanent profession on July 24, 1935 . Then she worked in a pen for the disabled in Lauingen (Danube) . During the time of National Socialism she stepped protectively in front of her protégés. From 1953 to 1965 she was superior of the monastery. From 1965 to 1978 she was Superior General of her order based in the motherhouse in Neuburg. From 1978 to 1990 she was Vicar General . She also spent her old age in Neuburg.
