Dominique Alonzo
Dominique Alonzo (* end of the 19th century in Paris , France ; † after 1926) was a French sculptor of Art Deco .
life and work
Alonzo was a student of the sculptor Alexandre Falguière . She exhibited her work from 1912 and 1926 at the Salon of the Société des Artistes Français .
Their detailed statuettes mostly show female figures dressed in long dresses, occasionally nudes and religious themes, and more rarely male figures. The chryselephantine works were often made of bronze and ivory on marble plinths. The Parisian fine art foundry Edmond Etling implemented their designs by hand.
